We thank you for considering the health of our staff and other patients.

Teeth are remarkably strong, but they can chip, crack (fracture) or break.

Although the enamel that covers your teeth is the hardest, its strength has limits. Breaking a tooth can happen in several different ways either by falling, receiving a blow to the face, or biting down on something hard, particularly if a tooth already has some decay causing a tooth to chip or break.

If your tooth is broken, chipped, or fractured, it is imperative to seek treatment urgently otherwise your tooth could be damaged further or become infected, possibly causing you to end up losing the tooth. Dr Rand Razaq can diagnose if the break was caused by a cavity or if the tooth's nerve is in danger and recommend the best possible solution and treatment.
